Presbyterian Child Development Center Daycare
CLASSROOM SCHEDULES & ACTIVITIES
Drop-off & Pick-up
Children enrolled full days in the Ruby Room, Sapphire Room, and Diamond Room, are typically dropped off and picked up either outside or in the Big Room. At this time, they will have the opportunity to enjoy gross motor time with children of all ages. Children enrolled in the Opal Room are dropped off in their classroom. Families are welcome to drop off or pick-up at any time. Breakfast is served at 9:30, lunch at 12:00, and snack at 3:00(or when they wake up from rest time), to all children 12 months and older. Our rest time is from 1:00-3:00 everyday in the older classrooms and on individualized schedules in the Opal Room.
Children enrolled in half-days may attend from 7:30-12:30 or 12:30-5:30, depending on availability.
At drop off, please notify the director and teacher of any important messages regarding your child. You will need to check your child in and out at the time of arrival and departure.
In the Sapphire Room, the two and three year old's
enjoy a variety of activities that prepare them to join
our preschool aged children. Potty training, social skill
development, critical thinking skills, and color, letter,
shape and number recognition, are some of the many
things children begin to learn in this classroom.
The Big Room
Children enrolled at PCDC have the opportunity to gain gross motor skills by playing in our Big Room. In this room, children may choose to ride tricycles, run, jump, walk on a balance beam, climb, build with large blocks, play basketball, hulahoop, and to participate in other fun activities and games led by their teachers.
The Diamond room consists of 3-5 year olds. They enjoy learning, growing, and developing, in various ways that help prepare them for Kindergarten.
